Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences (FHK) sees central demands fulfilled

"The amendment to the access criteria for the Red-White-Red Card adopted by the Council of Ministers today fulfils a long-standing demand of the FHK," says Secretary General Kurt Koleznik.
The increase in the period of validity from one to two years and the possibility of having twelve instead of six months to look for a job in future are just as important changes as the newly created possibility for all third-country students to work 20 hours per week during their studies. "The federal government is taking important steps here to avoid being marginalised in the international battle for the best minds," concludes Koleznik.
