FHK President Prommer is looking forward to the cooperation

The Austrian University of Applied Sciences Conference (FHK) congratulates the new chair team of the ÖH Federal Representation of Students, Nina Mathies, Sarah Rossmann and Simon Neuhold, on their election.

FHK President Prommer: "We warmly congratulate the new chairmanship team on their election! The next few years will definitely be exciting. The higher education sector, like society as a whole, is facing the challenges of demographic change, the climate crisis and dealing with new technologies. Students are called upon to help shape these issues in order to further develop the higher education sector accordingly."

"We are looking forward to working with the new chair," says FHK Secretary General Koleznik. "It is important that the ÖH is involved in the higher education policy discourse as a representative of all students. After all, students are at the centre of university activities."

Around 60,000 students are currently studying at the 21 Austrian universities of applied sciences. In addition to students at public universities and private universities, the Austrian National Union of Students also represents students at universities of applied sciences.
