With Dipl.-Ing.in (FH) Dr.in Sandra Stroj from the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg and DI (FH) Dr Günther Mayr from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria win the prize sponsored by the Christian Doppler Society.
Here, too, the UAS Conference congratulates them on their outstanding performance!
"The recognition of the outstanding achievements in the field of teaching and research at universities of applied sciences impressively emphasises the important position of universities of applied sciences within Austria as a centre of knowledge and innovation. I would therefore like to emphasise all the more urgently that it is absolutely essential that the federal government decides to increase the funding rates per study place by 20% as quickly as possible - from 1 January 2023 at the latest. This is the only way to ensure that universities of applied sciences can continue to offer such outstanding quality in teaching and research in the future!" appeals FHK President Ulrike Prommer.
