Research is an indispensable factor for the future viability of a country. Not only basic research, but also application-orientated research. Application-orientated research is very heterogeneous and has a comparatively small-scale structure. In order to improve our networking with each other and thus achieve a stronger impact not only in the public eye, but also in the political arena, the ACR and FHK have jointly launched the Initiative: Research diversity was launched.
